The launch flow
- Drop a picture (JPEG, PNG or WebP, up to 5 MB). It is checked by its bytes, re-encoded to WebP (max 1536 px) and its metadata (EXIF) is removed.
- Name (2 to 32 characters) and ticker (2 to 10 letters or digits). Both pass the content filter; the ticker must not already have a world here, and we show how many pump.fun coins already use it.
- We build ONE transaction and show every instruction in plain words, then simulate it on Solana mainnet through our own RPC and check it again with the same allow-check that runs in your browser.
- You sign it in your own wallet. The coin goes live on pump.fun at once and your world enters the generation queue. About 5 minutes later it opens at
worldpad.live/w/your-ticker.
Launches are in demo mode right now: the transaction is built and simulated for real, then nothing is signed or sent, and a demo world (stamped demo) is built anyway.
The transaction you sign
One atomic transaction, paid by your wallet, with these instructions and nothing else (anything else makes our check refuse it, in your browser and on the server):
| # | INSTRUCTION | AMOUNT |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Compute budget: unit limit and priority fee | network |
| 2 | Pay the world fee to the WORLDPAD world fee wallet BD4tDAKUGZhvuKeCTSWFmkK3zvZnR391cMCyAbYD2FLJ | 0.03 SOL |
| 3 | pump.fun create_v2: your coin, creator = this world's WORLDPAD key, user = your wallet (you pay the coin's rent) | rent, shown before you sign |
| 4 | Only if you chose another payout wallet: a memo binding it, signed by you | 0 |
There is no dev buy. After your world lands, the page offers "Buy $TICKER on pump.fun" from your own wallet. WORLDPAD never holds your keys or your SOL.
Creator model
The WORLDPAD signer is the on-chain creator of every coin launched here, with one key per world: key n = HMAC-SHA512(master seed, "worldpad/creator/" + n), first 32 bytes. Why one key per world and not one shared key: pump.fun keeps creator fees in a vault per creator, so a shared creator would pool every coin's fees into one vault and your 60% could not be attributed to you on-chain. One key per world means exact per-world accounting. Coins are created without a pump.fun fee-sharing config.
Fees and the split
World fee: 0.03 SOL per world = 0.015 SOL generation share + 0.015 SOL instant $WALKIN buy and burn. Plus the pump.fun create rent, at its real on-chain amount, shown before you sign.
Every 5 minutes (wall-clock 5-minute marks) the engine reads every world key's creator vault in one batched read. For each vault above 0.003 SOL it sends one transaction: collect, then split exactly 60 / 20 / 20 to your payout wallet / the world budget / the buyback wallet, in integer lamports, with any remainder to the buyback leg so the parts always sum to what was collected. Empty cycles are written as "nothing to claim, rolled over" and shown on the burn ledger.
The creator fee rate is pump.fun's, tiered by market cap, read live from pump.fun's fee config account (last read 2026-10-10 16:25 UTC):
| VENUE | FROM MCAP | CREATOR FEE | PROTOCOL | LP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| bonding curve | 0 SOL | 30 bps (0.30%) | 95 bps | 0 bps |
| PumpSwap | 0 SOL | 30 bps (0.30%) | 93 bps | 2 bps |

| PumpSwap | 98,240 SOL | 5 bps (0.05%) | 5 bps | 20 bps |
Example at the lowest live tier (5 bps = 0.05%): $200,000 of volume makes $100 of creator fees; 60% of that ($60) goes to the launcher.
Burns
Each world burns $WALKIN twice. First, when its launch is confirmed on chain (the transaction shows exactly 0.03 SOL paid to the world fee wallet), the engine buys $WALKIN with 0.015 SOL from that wallet and burns it in the same transaction ("launch burn"). Second, 20% of every collected creator fee buys and burns $WALKIN every 5 minutes. Before $WALKIN exists on chain, the launch burns accrue and run on the first cycle after it does. Every burn row links to Solscan; demo rows never do.
The generation reserve
The 0.015 SOL generation share is an accounting entry (the world budget ledger "gen reserve"), not a payment to anyone: World Labs Marble is paid in USD credits on the operator's World Labs account. A full world costs 1,580 credits ($1.26 at 0.001 USD per credit, model marble-1.1). The share stays in the world fee wallet as SOL. At today's SOL price it covers about 131% of a full world. If SOL drops below $85 the share no longer covers a full world; the engine logs it and the operator raises the world fee.
The queue and the cap
World Labs' default tier counts every generation start against rolling windows of about 3 per minute and 60 this hour. There is no draft preview, so the atlas builds up to 60 worlds per hour. Your position and ETA are computed from the real queue and the windows, and update live. When this hour's starts are used, the page says "atlas full this hour" with the real next slot. Holders of 1,000,000 $WALKIN go ahead of non-holders; inside each group it is first come, first served.
Hold perks
Hold 1,000,000 $WALKIN (0.1% of 1,000,000,000). That is about $3 at the ~28 SOL launch mcap / about $45 near graduation (~410 SOL) / $1,000 at a $1M mcap. The check: you sign a message (not a transaction) and we read your $WALKIN balance across every token account, cached for 60 seconds.
- Your world jumps the queue (holders first, then everyone, first come first served in each group).
- LIVE mode: 150 s in your world (ships as a replay, see below).
- Portals: if you launched two or more worlds, place a door in one that opens the other.
- The featured postcard on the atlas, rotated every 5 minutes among holders who launched.
Walking is free for everyone, with no wallet.
LIVE mode is a replay
LIVE mode ships as a REPLAY: a recorded 150 s camera path through your world's own splat, labelled "replay", never "live", until Odyssey access and pricing are confirmed.
Quality and rebuilds
When a world comes back, we measure it (splat count and colour spread). A rough result gets 1 free rebuild with a stronger prompt. If the rebuild is also rough, the world opens with an "AI-generated, rough" note. If generation fails, it is retried; nothing extra is charged, and no refund is sent on-chain (we only took the world fee).
Storage
Each world keeps a phone version (100k) and a desktop version (500k), each at most 30 MB. When the splat store passes 2 GB, the least recently walked worlds are evicted and downloaded again from World Labs on their next visit. Postcards are never evicted.
Content filter
Every name, ticker and guide line passes a hate and slur filter (with tricks like spacing, leetspeak and look-alike letters handled), and every picture passes an image moderation check before anything is built. Rejected names never show up anywhere.
Pictures of other people's things
Pictures that look like someone else's characters or brands are flagged to the operator, not blocked automatically.
Risks
- Coins on pump.fun can go to zero. Nothing here is financial advice.
- Worlds are generated by AI and can be rough or strange.
- Generation depends on World Labs; if it is down, your world waits in the queue.
- Creator fees depend on trading volume of your coin; no volume, no fees.
- The burn and split run from WORLDPAD's service wallets; every transaction is public on Solscan.
FAQ
Do I need a wallet to walk a world?
No. Walking and the passport are free and need no wallet.
What do I pay to launch?
0.03 SOL world fee plus the pump.fun create rent, both shown before you sign. No dev buy.
Who is the creator of my coin on pump.fun?
This world's WORLDPAD key. Its fees are collected every 5 minutes and 60% goes to your payout wallet in SOL.
Can I change my payout wallet?
It is set when you launch (first write wins), signed by you.
How long does a world take?
About 5 minutes once it starts; your live position and ETA are on your world's page.
What does the 15 s clip do?
It records 15 s inside the world in your browser, burns in the ticker and the link, and saves the file. Nothing is uploaded. X does not let a link attach a video, so attach the saved clip yourself.
